Well another week working in remote Australia, keeping telstra honest with some awesome private networks, via the magic of microwaves & NBN taxpayer free.

The last 2 weeks i have been freezing the proverbials in Canberra /Queanbeyan & Goulburn, starting off  the day in minus temps & wind chills due to 40knot plus  winds.

This week however has been quite tropical, in the steel city & original stomping ground of Jennifer Hawkins .. “Newie”.

Newcastle West ,where we are working, is quite fun as they have a methodone McDonalds & some wonderfull folk who want to share your last dollar … or a smoke.

So far, after three Days, sadly no future nor past “Ms World types” sighted yet…  BUT one does live in hope!

@daniellecormack  ,who first caught my eye in Maddigans Quest in a rather fetching jumpsuit & more recently in Rake, and soon to be seen in the Razor gang inspired Underbelly , told of  the great news, and only real OzzieC related bit to this rant( blogness) who was informed today 25th May, that Rake series  two  has  been greenlit = whooo hooooo !

During the meanwhilst you can catch Danielle as “Angela Travis ” in East west101 for an entirely different style of character on SBS.

Oh well now off to sleep and await another ungodly pre 7:00AM wake up prior to zooming up to a mountain top full of digital TV & AM/FM goodness so i can be radiated whilst changing out some electronic bits & pieces… ahhh makes smokeing seem quite healthy LoLz !!

Has been slow in comming and still a while away , so no real point in chasing Media at this stage, however the motivation is still there.

Durning the meanwhilst i am between Goulburn & Canberra re  discovering wind chill and fresh air !

More hopefully interesting content soon, unless some pub types want to see/hear their kareoke & spotty bum moon that almost destroyed my cam & formerly sitting dinner that almost painted the floor!

The ABC is back in the biz of long form drama, with the 22-part ‘Crownies’ now in the works. We spoke to Karl Zwicky about his plans for the show.Crownies, the new 22-part tv series being produced for the ABC, tells the story of “five young solicitors fresh out of law school, as they face the pressures and endearing madness of modern single life” (press release). The series is being produced by Karl Zwicky. They start shooting on Friday. “It’s exciting,” Karl explained. “For a start, the ABC is really behind us. It’s their first long run drama series for almost a decade.” The ABC have been running much shorter shows in recent years. Karl finds the 22 episode structure to be “a very different beast. You can really explore the characters and let the audience follow the show in a lot more detail.” Audiences can also take a few episodes to realize that a new series is on – difficult if it’s short form. He noted that ABC have a lot of drama on their slate at the moment, and that “doing a series like this is a bit of a change of pace for them. It’s not the sort of show where you can have all the scripts ready before you start. It’s a locomotive and when you hop on board, you can’t get off.”

Just up the beach a young TOG & his model became public property and were included in the vid ….well just because ! LoLz

With no media cred we settled for a doorstop approach & wish to thank all those Champs who said G`Day !

I was trialling my new vid with a memory stick & of course some drama & footage lost with corruption = grrr . Lost forever is a warm and jovial chat by tripleJ`s “The Doctor” in a file that no sofware i have access to will untangle .
